Crash Boom Bang

If you do cycle on a regular basis, or even better still, whenever you do cycle at all, please wear a helmet.

Today, my helmet saved me from certain death. I kid you not. I landed on my chest and skidded. Quite thankful my right nipple is still around. got a cut on my right thumb, sprained my right wrist, bruised my right chest, shoulder and hip, and grazed my right chest and knee. How cool is that. Oh and a small bump on my right cheekbone. If I did not wear my helmet, that small bump could have been a crater in my face; because when you skid on your chest, your head does not stay up, it will go smack bang, even bounce off the cold (ok it was albeit warm) hard ground due to gravity, unless you tell me that you cycle with a neck brace.

So please, spend some money, get a bicycle helmet, invest in your own life.
