The innocence and awe of a two years-old child, picture perfect.

Singapore has turned 40 years old. In history books, that is considered very young for a nation state. The fact that Singapore has came so far since independence in 1965, progressed from a third world country to a glowing little red dot, embracing globalisation, constant economic growth, low unemployment, safe streets, racial harmony, high standard of living... the list goes on. Despite all the criticism out there on 'accusing' the Singapore Government creating an authoritarian regime, tight media control blah blah blah,
I have to say they did a good job, in providing the above which we see it as a basic necessity.
You are wrong. If you travel enough, you know such characteristics are not intertwined and as synergistic as what we see at home. After staying in Perth, you appreciate the street lightings in Singapore.
Enjoy the accompanied song on my blog and have a good chuckle, at my expense!
Onward Singapore!
