Low carb diets, will not work

Unless you up your protein intake.

even so, you still have to eat a net amount of carbohydrates. So it isn't much of a low carb diet then is it?
How much is good / enough? i will not devulge into that here as every individual has a unique amount to ingest for optimum fat loss.

Protein comes in the form of your meat: poultry, red meat, fish, eggs, beans, nuts, milk etc. One also needs a proper diet of proteins to ward of the fats.

With proteins and hopefully a bit of weight resistance belted out by yourself, that will allow muscle synthesis. with muscle, one's metabolism rate will rise, thus increasing ones capability to burn more fat in a day, even while asleep.

There are 2 types of carbs: simple and complex carbs. Generally the complex carbs have a lower glycemic index then simple carbs. complex carbs take longer to digest, therefore releasing sugars into your bloodstream slower and in regular amounts. This allows your body to burn them of slowly without storing them. these sort of carbs are great with meals such as brown rice, pasta, potatoes, vegs etc.

simple carbs are released into your blood stream within 30mins. If these are not burned off, they will ultimately be stored in your body in places that you will not like as fats. eg: white bread, soft drinks, bananas etc. These are great before workouts to prevent muscle catabolism (breakdown). with less muscle, you burn less fat.

you NEED your carbs, both simple and complex. with them, they provide the transport system to deliver protein and everything else like vitamins around the body. These is soley done by insulin, a hormone released when you ingest carbs.

so, if you want to have that sort of (ghastly) figure in the pic below, just do the opposite of above.

a final note, no way you ladies out there will bulk up and look like a freak female body builder. Your body i am quite sure does not produce testosterone to achieve this. So get out there and do some resistance exercises and not just cardio and cardio and cardio.
